Each year the Office of Undergraduate Education hosts an event focused on inspiring our faculty with ideas for innovation and interactivity in the classroom.  The event features speakers, small breakout sessions and workshops. The event is free and open to the faculty, staff, and graduate students of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Seventeenth Annual: Learning Analytics: Role in Pedagogical Improvement

Plenary speakers Alyssa Wise (New York University Steinhardt), Christopher Dede (Harvard University), and Ryan Baker (Teachers College Columbia University), will present on a range of topics from real time assessment in immersive learning environments to using educational data mining. There will be a panel discussion following the presentations. Lunch will be offered, with workshops in the afternoon and Happy Hour to brainstorm together.
