Please be informed that the 2023 Annual Utility Shutdown for Assessment and Repair will take place on the following dates:

• Steam outages: May 6-13 in Quad, Sage Dining Hall, Commons Dining Hall, Rensselaer Union, and Freshman Hill Dorms, affecting steam and hot water in those areas.
• Electrical outages: May 8-11, with May 12 as a backup date.

During these periods, the central steam plant will be shut down, and there will be selective electrical power outages across the campus. Some Res Halls will have steam service for hot water and the Commons Dining Hall will also have it.
