The Annual Utility Shutdown for Assessment and Repair will occur on the following dates:

• Steam outages are scheduled for Quad, Sage Dining Hall, Commons Dining Hall, Rensselaer Union, and Freshman Hill Dorms are scheduled to begin Tuesday, July 5th and continue through Friday, July 8th.   This outage will affect steam and hot water in these areas.
• Electrical outages are scheduled to begin Tuesday, July 5th and continue through Saturday, July 9th.

The central steam plant will be shut down and there will be selective electrical power outages throughout the campus during each time frame.  There will be steam service to selective Res Halls for hot water and the Commons Dining Hall.  RPI Physical Plant has a more detailed list with locations and times on the Facilities page.
