I am pleased to announce that Dave Ira has been appointed as the Director of Physical Plant in the Administrative Division, effective August 14, 2023.

Mr. Ira joined Rensselaer in 2004 as the Associate Director of Physical Plant and has been serving as the Acting Director since March 2022.

Before joining Rensselaer, Mr. Ira worked for Johnson Controls as a Critical Environmental Manager for multiple buildings and data centers. He also worked with Cushman and Wakefield for complete property management of the MetLife Rensselaer Information Services Center and served as the Director of Plant Facilities as well as the Director of Plant Operations and Maintenance for the Albany Medical Center.
