Welcome to the official website for Air Force ROTC Detachment 550, the home of the Silver Falcons, located at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
We offer a challenging in-college program to develop quality leaders for the United States Air and Space Forces. The program offers:
- Scholarships – Over 50% of our cadets receive academic scholarship support
- Commission as a US Air Force or Space Force officer
- Exciting leadership careers with purpose
