Grounds for Disciplinary Action #18: Discriminatory Harassment and Behavior
In an effort to continue to establish a Rensselaer environment that strives for inclusion, equity, and access, Grounds for Disciplinary Action #18: Discriminatory Harassment and Behavior has been added to specifically identify community expectations and hold community members accountable for discriminatory and bias-related behavior.

Community Health Emergencies Statement
This update includes a statement to address and identify measures to assist Rensselaer in preventing or managing community health emergencies or pandemics, as well as additional requirements or safety measures that may be implemented to ensure community safety and wellness.

Sexual Misconduct Policy (Revised August 14, 2020)
References and excerpts to Rensselaer’s Sexual Misconduct Policy within the Handbook have been updated to reflect revisions to the Sexual Misconduct Policy to comply with the U.S. Department of Education’s amendments to Title IX. Visit the updated Sexual Misconduct Policy to review changes.

It is the responsibility of each Rensselaer student to understand and comply with the rules and regulations set forth in the Handbook, and requirements set forth in other Institute policies.
