Scholarships

Earn a scholarship to pay for college.

  • High School Scholarship Program
    • Type 1: Full tuition at any college affiliated with ROTC
  • In College Scholarship Program
    • Type 1: 100% tuition
    • Type 2: $18,000 per-year tuition
  • Charles McGee Leadership Award
    • Awarded to all Professional Officer Course cadets upon contracting in the Air Force after graduation from Field Training
    • Type 2 ICSP: $18,000 per-year tuition

All scholarships offer $900 annually in textbook fees and several hundred dollars a month in stipend.

You can apply for a scholarship as a senior in high school or after joining AFROTC in college.

Requirements

  • Weekly cadet requirements include one academic class, two hours of leadership training, and two hours of physical training totaling five hours for Freshman/Sophomores and seven hours for Juniors/Seniors.
  • The only summer requirement is Field Training for 13 days between Sophomore and Junior year.
  • Numerous voluntary training opportunities are available to further advance your cadet experience and prepare you for active duty upon graduation.
  • Cadets serve a four-year commitment to the Air or Space Force upon commissioning.
