NEW TO RENSSELAER

Once you have your RCS ID (this is your Rensselaer email without the @rpi.edu) and password, you can submit your photo:

Step 1

Click on the Submit Campus Card Photo button on the right-hand side of this page, you will receive a prompt to login using your RCS ID and password.

Step 2

From there, click on the Profile tab and then the “Click to submit new photo” link keeping in mind the following photo requirements:

• Photo would qualify for a driver's license or passport photo.
• Must be a head shot cropped from just above the top of the head down to the collarbone.
• The Photo background must be plain white. No furniture, scenery, or other objects behind you. No special effects or filters.
• You must be facing forward with eyes open and visible with a straight face or smile. WE LIKE SMILES!!
• Normal street attire. No hats, or sunglasses. Head coverings worn for religious purposes are acceptable.
• Photo must be only you (No family, friends, animals, or objects)

If upon submission, all requirements meet this criterion, you will receive a message that the photo process was acceptable, please note this is related to the photo only and not confirmation of a completed card.

Step 3

New Employees Only – Fill out the New Employee ID request form. You can find this form under campus access card/ID card forms.

The Campus Card office will review your photo and form. When complete, we will e-mail you letting you know the card is ready for pickup.
